About me

I come from Rome (Italy).

I have been working as a midwife since 1988 and I’m an IBCLC Breastfeeding Consultant since 2000.

I’ve got two grown daughters and a little nephew.

Studying and learning are part of my life. I got a Degree in Adult Education and I learnt how to use Chinese Traditional Medicine in Pregnancy, Childbirth and Postnatal Period.

I’m a Mother’s Journey Kundalini Yoga Teacher and I’ve learnt how to use the Rebozo in different occasions.

I try always to find a way to support in the best possible way people that I meet.

I use different methods so that you could enjoy the best possible experience using tools from different cultures.

During my spare time I love travelling, reading and taking care of my urban garden.

Blessingway

Deriving from a traditional ceremony of the Navajo tribe of Native Americans, the Blessingway is an auspicious ceremony performed in the moments of transition, as well as pregnancy in the approaching birth. Together with a colleague I organize this ceremony, adapted to our cultural context

The Rebozo is a hand woven traditional Mexican shawl

After a training with south American midwives I’ve been teaching always more often birthing persons and their partners the different uses of this shawl during pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

This conclusive ceremony consists in an invigorating bath, a 4 hands massage and the use of several shawls/Rebozos to close in a symbolical way the bones that had to be opened up during the birthing process.
